My son, Nash, has had many cars. He began buying and selling cars when
he was 14 or 15. He never really made any money but enjoyed fixing
them up and trying to make a buck while upgrading his ride.

Nash’s last two cars were a 1990 VW Corrado and a 1993 BMW 318
badged to look like an M3. Nice look but pathetically short of
performance! We bantered around many ideas and decided that someday
we would drop a small block Chevy into Beamer.

Unfortunately Nash was killed in a boating accident last summer. He was
17 and had just graduated from high school. He was headed of to auto
mechanics school where he was going to specialize in high performance
engines and chassis. His dream was to eventually have his own mod shop.

Nash didn’t get the chance to build his small block powered 3 series
Beamer but with the help of some of his bros the project lives on.

Wish you were here in person helping us but I know you’re watching
close.
